Access:
From west edge of Spean Bridge Hotel, take C road east along south bank of R. Spean to
0.4 miles after Cour Bridge, then right (south) through Coire Choille Farm
to parking just more than 1 mile after the farm.
Route:
On its own, Stob Ban next to the Grey Corries fits easily into a short day, as here.
However, it can be combined well the eastern Grey Corries,
the two Corbetts Cruach Innse and Sgurr Innse, or the two Munros
Stob Coire Easain and Stob a' Choire Mheadhoin.
The track along Lairig Leachach seems too steep & rough to be worth the effort of cycling,
but that's just my opinion.
N.B. Allt Chuil Choirean (& Allt na Lairige) can be in spate and impossible to cross.
Over half the water in the Allt Chuil Choirean at Lairig Leachach Bothy has to be crossed
higher up at NN273732 where it descends into the valley from the Grey Corries.
This too can be dangerous. It rises very quickly after heavy rain.
Depending on the state of the rickety footbridge just upstream from the bothy at NN28247354,
you may need to choose the east ridge or the corrie route in both directions.
